Introduction

Use CM.com's IBAN Verification API to retrieve a person's International Bank Account Number (IBAN) using an iDEAL transaction with the value of €0.01.

How does it work?

• Ask the user to select his bank.
• Start the IBAN Verification transaction for the selected bank.
• The user is redirected to the bank.
• The user logs in and approves the €0.01 transaction.
• The bank sends the user back to your website.
• Retrieve the result of the IBAN verification transaction.

Integration

You initially only have access to dummy data via our API. If you have not yet received any credentials, you can request them via this link. The credentials provided by CM.com are confidential and should not be distributed further. Have you completed all tests and you are ready to go live? Then contact your account manager or our sales team.

Note that because of bank regulations, you also need a contract with CM.com and you need to pass CM.com's business compliance check. This process can take up to a few days. You should therefore get this administrative process started with your CM.com account manager, well before you want to receive consumer data and before you plan your 'go live' moment.
